Podcasting can be a powerful marketing method when it is executed properly, but so many cannot see that and are limiting themselves. The trick is to create a quality podcast that people want to listen to. Some people seem to have difficulty doing that, though. And of course others have no problems doing it. But when you’re getting started with podcasts, then any help will be good help – if it’s good information. We’ll now delve into the fundamentals of making your own podcast.

Get a good and reliable microphone. Understand that not just any microphone will do for this situation. Be willing to drop a little money for a quality mic because you’ll appreciate it when you listen to your recording quality. Your best bet will be a directional microphone so it will not pick-up unwanted noises. Some quick research will give you some ideas. You’ll find quite a range of mics, and the spread in price and quality is wide. Many podcasters have websites, so you can take a look there. They probably have a section on their websites that will tell you what tech equipment they use.

Also, before you publish your podcast, you’ll want to optimize it. This is important because a podcast can get ranked in the search engines, too. So what you’ll do is use tags for all your links and the page where your podcast resides. The Liner and Show notes associated with a podcast can be optimized, too. Of course, just like with articles, make your podcast targeted to a topic, so when you do that you can optimize your headline. There’s no secret, you can do the same things to rank your podcasts and get targeted search engine traffic. The whole point to SEO’ing your podcasts is to gain more exposure.

Ask your listeners for feedback. It’s always best to be impersonal about it, so just ask for good and negative feedback. Then, see how you can improve from the process. Ask for suggestions for future topics. Always avoid letting your ego get in the way of improving yourself. Asking for other people’s opinions is powerful because it makes them feel valued. When you use someone’s idea, and they see it, they will really get a kick out of it. This will make you far more popular than if you just assume that everything you do is fine and do not allow feedback.

If you take the time to learn how to do it, podcasting can get just as much done for your business as many other methods. It will probably depend on the real value of your content, but some people charge for podcast access and many others do not.
But no matter what you can achieve impressive results with this audio medium. It’s all about relationship marketing, and you need to establish a degree of trust with your listeners just like any other method. It is a win-win situation.

Great SEO strategies are important if you are to rank well in the search engines and get more free information from www.searchenginestratagems.com now.

“There are facts, there are opinions, and there are lies,” says historian Deborah Lipstadt, telling the remarkable story of her research into Holocaust deniers — and their deliberate distortion of history. Lipstadt encourages us all to go on the offensive against those who assault the truth and facts. “Truth is not relative,” she says. Note: Comments are disabled for this video. Is your computer crashing a lot? It is not only annoying but also a big problem as you cannot work properly. How to fix the issue? There are a lot of potential causes for which PC crashes. In this article we have discussed about some of the most common problems and their possible solutions.

Hardware conflict is a very common reason for which Windows crashes. An interrupt request channel (IRQ) is used to communicate with each hardware device and this is unique for every device. If your computer has a lot of devices and they are not installed properly, you might be ending up sharing the same IRQ number. And if both devices are used at the same time, Windows may crash. Use the Device Manager to fix this issue.

Sometimes, RAM (random-access memory) problems could be the reason of your computer crash. The blue screen of death is mostly caused due to RAM problem. May be a part of the RAM is damaged and will need replacing. Parity error messages also come due to RAM problem. Consult a computer repair service provider that offers tech support for fixing the issues.

Wrong BIOS settings could also be the reason of computer crash. The CAS latency is a very common BIOS error which occurs due to the improper RAM settings. CAS latency of the Older EDO (extended data out) RAM is 3 while the newer SDRAM has a CAS latency of 2. So, a wrong set up can lock up and freeze the display of the computer.

Over time, the information on the hard disk drive of the computer becomes piecemeal or fragmented. You should defragment the hard disk every week to prevent your computer against crash. To perform this task, you can go to Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Disk Defragmenter. It takes some time to complete the defragment process and you cannot write data to the hard drive (to save it) during this process.

If the hard disks of your computer is too full, your computer will perform sluggishly and may also crashes. You should clean your hard disk drive after every few months. Go to the Windows folder on the C drive and locate the Temporary Internet Files folder. You should delete the contents (not the folder) of this folder. It will free a lot of space. As a part of the cleaning process you should also empty the Recycle Bin every week.

If a software program is not installed properly, it may be the cause of computer crash. This is a very issue. To fix the issue, you should first uninstall the software and then reinstall it. You can also use third party software like Norton Uninstall or Uninstall Shield to remove an application from your computer properly.

These are some common reasons due to which PC crashes.

Many remote computer support providers are there in the markets that come with PC repair services round the clock. By contacting any of these companies you will get end-to-end solution for any PC issues.

If you own a laptop computer, chances are very very good that it is probably powered by a lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery. This battery type has found application in a wide variety of consumer electronics, including PDAs and cell phones. They have gained widespread popularity due to economic and technical reasons, particularly their high charge to weight ratio.

Lithium-ion batteries have replaced the nickel-cadmium (NiCd) batteries that were first used to power laptop computers and the nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries that superseded the NiCd laptop battery technology. They have dominated today’s rechargeable battery market for laptop computers because they are much lighter than the other types of laptop batteries, they retain their charge longer than the other technologies and because they do not suffer from the memory effect phenomenon. A typical lithium-ion battery has two times the energy density of a standard nickel cadmium battery. Additionally, lithium-ion batteries have a single cell voltage of 3.6 volts as compared to 1.2 volts per cell of nickel-cadmium batteries.

However, the disadvantages associated with lithium-ion batteries include: the possibility that a failed battery pack can ignite under adverse conditions, they are more sensitive to high temperature environments than the other battery technologies in their ability to retain their charge, they may fail if they are completely discharged, and the inherit chemistry of the battery leads to degradation with age as opposed to the stronger correlation between battery failures and charge/discharge cycles of the older battery chemistries. Lithium-ion computer batteries also require that protection circuitry be incorporated into the battery pack to monitor the battery charge and to provide safe voltage and current levels, as well as ensuring that the temperature of the battery remains in a safe operating range.

Cylindrical lithium-ion battery cells are generally tubular in shape, much like the shape of standard alkaline batteries. Several cells are enclosed in a plastic housing and the individual cells are connected in a manner to provide the proper output voltage and to maximize storage capacity (rated in milliamp-hours). Prismatic shaped lithium-ion cells are also available, but they are much smaller and are typically used in devices such as cell phones where weight and space is a prime consideration.

There are several things that affect the life of a lithium-ion laptop battery. Battery degradation is hastened by heat, so storing the battery in a cool environment will prolong its life. Manufacturers typically recommend a storage temperature of approximately 60°F for the long-term storage of lithium-ion batteries. These batteries, as stated previously, do not retain a memory from partial discharge cycles, so full discharge cycles are not required. In fact, partial cycling of the battery will help extend its life. Lithium-ion batteries do have a limited lifetime like the older battery technologies, but this is relatively independent of their charging cycles and is chiefly related to their age. A typical battery will last only 2 to 3 years. This is true even if the battery remains unused so it is important not to purchase a replacement laptop battery until it is ready to be put into service.

The author has established a website for replacement laptop batteries that provides tips and buying advice regarding cheap laptop batteries. An in-depth article on laptop battery ratings discusses the voltage and milliamp-hours specifications that are two of the chief considerations in the choice of a replacement laptop battery.

The fact that writers write is like you are breathing. Sometimes you hold your  breath, or sneeze of cough. Writing  articles creats reliability and measure to your niche of field of expertise online. It is simple to put together a small 250 to 400 word piece, espeically your information foe the subject matter is shone by your passion. That passion, life –energy, is infectious and will pull readers not only to your pieces of works but alo to your  site-link from your resource box.

About this time, is that editor-on-your-shoulder, that doubting-writer-self stomping her feet and ranting? Have faith: let me count the ways to your new article-writing success:

TIME: “I don’t have time!”

* The average person watches five to seven hours of TV per week. One less TV hour, one extra writing hour. Check.

* Most people never greet the sunrise. Alarm clocks are cheap and do their job well; waking a half-hour earlier won’t cause too much premature aging. Double check.

* Leafing through out-of-date magazines at the doctor’s office won’t necessarily add pertinent learning to your website niche or area of expertise. Paper, pencils and laptops are easy to carry and give you opportunities for jotting down article ideas. Triple check.

ENERGY: “I’m too tired!”

* Walking shoes are in every store window; you probably have a lonely, dusty pair hiding somewhere. Your endorphins will engage and energize in 20 minutes. Check.
