Need help finding a newspaper article? This guide will show you how to find both recent and historical newspaper articles using the Cook Library databases.

This video features articles and advertisements from historical Northeast Los Angeles newspapers dating back to 1905. Some of the titles represented are the Highland Park Journal, the Highland Park News Herald and the Eagle Rock Sentinel. It was produced by Eric Warren, President of the Eagle Rock Historical Society to highlight the collection of Northeast Los Angeles newspapers being built by Occidental College Library, Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society and the Highland Park Heritage Trust.
