Sunday, April 15, 2018

Did you know that the skin is the largest organ in your body? With that said shouldn’t it be given the best care possible? In this article i am going to share with you three tips for healthy skin that will improve the health of your skin.

There is a saying that goes, “The health of our skin is a true reflection of what’s going on in the inside of our body”. So anything that helps improve our skin-health, will most likely improve the overall health of the body

With that in mind, let’s get right into the three tips for healthy skin.

1. Protect Your Skin from the Sun

Of all factors that damage the skin, the sun is probably the most dangerous of all. Chronic exposure to the UV rays cause many skin disorders including, age spots which are also known as sun spots as well as wrinkles and fine lines found in the face.

Make it a habit to reduce the number of hours you spend in the sun. If being outdoors is inevitable, try to protect yourself with umbrellas, large brim hats and sun screen lotion with a minimum SPF (sun protection factor) of 15

2. Eat Food that is Rich in Antioxidants

The second tip from my tips for healthy skin has to do with food and antioxidants.

Antioxidants protect the body from cell damaging unstable oxygen molecules called free radicals. In the absence of antioxidants, free radicals will cause pre-mature aging.

Here are some foods that you might want to include in your diet to naturally fight off free radicals:

Dried Prunes
Raspberries
Plums
Tuna
Red cabbage
Lemon
Pineapple
Kiwi fruit
Grape fruit

All the above are rich in antioxidants and will help keep your skin looking and feeling young.

3. Use Skincare Products that Contain Phytessence Wakame

Have you ever noticed how the Japanese have such smooth, clear looking skin? Well part of the reason is because their diet is rich in fish and many fish species are rich in antioxidants.

Another not so popular reason is because of a substance called Phytessence Wakame which is a variety of kelp found in the Japanese Sea.

The Japanese eat it in its raw as well as dry form.

Phytessence Wakame has been proven to increase skin elasticity, smoothness and also helps heal irritated and dry skin.

Any skincare products that include Phytessence Wakame as an active ingredient will help keep your skin healthy and younger looking.

Now that you are armed with these tips for healthy skin, you owe it to yourself to take action by making it a habit to protect yourself
