Washington Post Runs 16 Anti-Bernie Stories In 16 Hours

Saturday, September 23, 2017

The Washington Post has decided it doesn’t need to pretend to be neutral anymore, and wants to wade into the realm of political opinions… but only when it comes to Bernie Sanders. Challenging a Republican on what their deficit holes go to pay for is bad form. Cenk Uygur, host of the The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

“In what has to be some kind of record, the Washington Post ran 16 negative stories on Bernie Sanders in 16 hours, between roughly 10:20 PM EST Sunday, March 6, to 3:54 PM EST Monday, March 7—a window that includes the crucial Democratic debate in Flint, Michigan, and the next morning’s spin…

All of these posts paint his candidacy in a negative light, mainly by advancing the narrative that he’s a clueless white man incapable of winning over people of color or speaking to women. Even the one article about Sanders beating Trump implies this is somehow a surprise—despite the fact that Sanders consistently out-polls Hillary Clintonagainst the New York businessman.”*

Ben Bradlee must be turning over in his grave over what's happened to his once great newspaper.

  3. Apple Jack says:

AP? you just made a video yesterday on how AP prematurely celebrated hillary's democratic nominee win which essentially dismissed anyone voting for bernie. which is is cenk? Can AP be trusted?

What i dont get is why even bother trying to sneak in your political agenda as the CEO of the Washington Post. You have 50 BILLION dollars and you're an old man. If bernie wins, you'll pay more in taxes, the amount which you wouldnt even notice if someone was taking it from your bank account every single day. If bernie doesnt win, you'll pay less taxes. No matter what happens you'll still have more money than you could possibly imagine, yet you're obsessed with bringing down Bernie? why? Dont you have better shit to do. Why arent you on permanent vacation until you die? 50 Billion dollars? Why are you still working? Wtf are you doing?

now you see what many right wingers go through or more specifically what Trump goes through yet you assholes are willing to believe all the BS about trump but cry your lol hearts out for bernie. I agree they are pushing for Hillary over bernie because she is establishment just like how they attack trump who isn't establishment . but don't get me wrong bernie Sanders is a idiot and would make a terrible president.

finally you retard coperations and the rich love regulation you ignorant shit. they use regulation to kill any competition before it can get big. they can kill off entire rivals with regulation. TIP HERE! that's why big coperations like democrats to.

finally when you said "we need someone to fight the rich" that is a perfect example of the left-wing mindset. jealousy… what is wrong with people who have earn money and power, having it? this meme you hear left wingers toss around TAX DA RiCH! is equivalent to a 7 year old who earned 5 dollars mowing lawns wanting his parents to take 5 dollars away from his brother who earned 12 from selling cookies. people stop being jealous ass hats. more importantly tax raises wouldn't hurt these people anyways because of the countless loop holes they can take advantage of. even if you close them they will simple move the money off shore and take business somewhere else. because of that you get stuck paying the taxes

I will say one thing that I completely agree with fighting coperations influence in both the GOP and the democrats.that must end but the answer isn't more taxes and more "free" shit

The most partisan candidate is Bernie Sanders?! Even more so than Ted Cruz who was the loudest voice in shutting the government down back in 2013 over disagreements?! In what universe are they living in?

Shocking and not shocking. I think it's time to reevaluate the Nixon Impeachment as an inside hit job against Nixon and his policies.

It's so disappointing when people have to start playing games, rather than letting things run their own course. Sounds like the BBC… It's disgusting behaviour.

  11. Nicsienieda06 says:

Why would you cry over this if all liberal media do the exact same thing against Trump? W/e

The WP and NYT are obsolete pieces of garbage that support the plutocracy. No wonder they favor Hillary. They will all feel the Bern

Washington Post was infiltrated by Kissinger and his henchmen when Katherine Graham owned it.

  17. adgray406 says:

The Washington Post should have to count their articles as donations to the Shillary campaign. CNN should be forced to disclose Time-Warner's donations to Her as well. If the media is going to take sides they should be forced to disclose their donations and biases.

I've seen you guys in my suggested videos on youtube for a while and I am glad that I finally decided to check you out.  I'm not thrilled with some of the spin you throw out, but you seem to be relatively well informed and researched and significantly better than most mainstream sources (I do like NPR, but I suspect a lot of your supporters do too).
