Last week’s video: Climate Science – What You Need to Know https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffjIyms1BX4

Scientists overwhelmingly agree that our climate is changing, Earth is getting warmer, sea levels are rising, and it’s primarily because of humans putting lots of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Yet 4 in 10 Americans aren’t convinced
Here’s what psychologists and sociologists have to say about why some people don’t believe in climate science.

  2. joshua garner says:

Climate alarmist use graph that show very short time periods. They are using misinformation to mislead the masses. They always say the worst/hottest/driest day/month/year in recorded history, but the fail to say is a very short period in reference to earth's climate. In statistics it would be considered to small a sample size to get any logical conclusions from.

  5. Hannibal Lecter says:

This video did absolutely nothing to change my mind. It jumps all over the place telling how my brain "works" and how I deal with "fear" to deny the dangers of man made climate change. Climate has always been changing. Guess what? In the 1930's, every major city in the US temp's were over 100 degrees in the Summer time. Oh yeah, Hurricanes are a new thing apparently to the Left….

  6. Hannibal Lecter says:

There used to be glaciers that reached from Asia to the United States. Damn those primitive people driving their cars back then!

  12. Sylvia Collett says:

The debate about climate change is similar to the debate over smoking, say, 30 years ago. Smoking cigarettes has been a thing for a very long time. In the U.S., smoking was sensationalized on TV and movies up until maybe the 1980's (that's when I noticed they started censoring advertisements that enticed kids, like Joe Camel). Up until just recently, most people that smoked refused or ignored the warnings about cigarette smoking. But slowly, legislation and popular culture is making cigarette smoking a stigma. I think that's what needs to happen with climate change. Legislation and social culture are really the most effective methods of change. Laws are slowly being changed to help climate change, like EPA regulations and smog emissions, but they are not enough. Consumers have the strongest say in positive changes, since there are so many of us and businesses will cater to their consumers. Unfortunately, the consumer is often times uneducated on a subject, or just choose to ignore it.

The Nazis are paid off to promote a lie !!!!!!!!!

  14. EvilStreaks says:

7 minute video about how humans can misjudge threats. No, people aren't looking away from the evidence out of complacency. They're just going "a 100-year temperature graph is nothing". BIg difference. And this starts with "there are libraries worth of hard research on this" but only showed different variations of the same data – the above mentioned temperature graph. If people doubt man-made climate change, it's because if actual evidence exists they just don't know about it, because it's always the same narrow-scope empirical shite that gets cited to them. It's not complacency, like not believing in the Loch Ness monster is not complacency. It's not confirmation bias, like being an atheist isn't being so commited to your stance that you refuse God's glory. It's just that they haven't been convinced. That's ALL.

  15. micah watz says:

the earths climate has been changing for the entire history of the earth. if you look at a chart from 500 ad the points on the graph are up and down. the left only focuses on the last 100 years

  16. 1jeepcam says:

People love to put off everything. Most are lazy. They wait to the last second to get out of bed to go to work. They wait to the last second to get in their car to drive to work. Then they complain about traffic as they fight not to be late for work. Something as simple as getting up 5 or 10 minutes earlier would solve the problem, yet they will do the same routine for years and years. To think most people will give climate change a second of REAL thought is out of the question. People are selfish. They don't want to solve or help solve the world's problems. They only really care about THEIR problems. It's sad but true for MOST people. While the few WILL get up 5 or 10 minutes early to not have to rush to work and do believe and are concerned about climate change and are not selfish, the few cannot depend of the masses. The masses are asses! Just keep'n it real REAL!

You try to convince people that you are right by telling them that they have primitive minds, are gullible and are fitted with marionette strings. After watching this video I think the name of your channel should be changed to It's Okay to be Stupid. Insulting people is not the way to persuade anyone of anything other than convincing them that you are a clueless oaf.

  20. Donald Trump says:

  21. Terry Moore says:

Don't you folks get it? It has started and cannot be stopped. On Florida Keys the trees have died as sea level is rising there. At High tide, salt water is coming up the drains into the streets in Miami. The fresh water lakes behind the coastline in Louisiana are now full of salt water and the fresh water shrimp fisheries are gone for ever. Florida which is only 17.5 meters above sea level will be under the sea within 60 years. Why?
There is no dispute that this planet is undergoing climate change, indeed, throughout history, this planet has suffered much more serious climatic assaults on its surface and its inhabitants. The science however is confused by the allegation that there is GLOBAL warming. Here at the Cat Survival Trust www.catsurvivaltrust.org we have studied the effects and causes of climate change for over 30 years and much of our £200,000 library contains references to every contributory aspect of this still much misunderstood world issue. We became interested in the subject for a number of reasons which could have an impact on the long term survival of the world’s cat species and the food chain of fauna and flora on which they (and humans) rely. One very good example of direct cause and effect is the loss of habitat to snow leopard following the receding snow line up the sloperested in the subject for a number of reasons which could have an impact on the long term survival of the world’s cat species and the food chain of fauna and flora on which they (and humans) rely. One very good example of direct cause and effect is the loss of habitat to snow leopard following the receding snow line up the slopes of the Himalayas which has encouraged more human settlement in snow leopard habitat and an increase in human/snow leopard conflict. What has become very apparent throughout our research is the problem that this subject is increasingly being studied in ever increasing minute detail by many agencies who fail to see the bigger picture.

Earthquakes, Volcanic eruptions and Pole Shift
Historically, this planet has seen surges of earthquake, volcanic activity and general increases and decreases in temperature, but these changes have happened over many tens of thousands of years. Some changes have almost certainly happened suddenly as a result of asteroid strike and pole shift (see the current and predicted accelerating movement of the position of the North (and South) Pole at )http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/ge… and have been accelerated by the affects of excessive plate movements causing extensive earthquakeshttp://earthquake.usgs.gov/… (then click the cog top right hand corner, select Magnitude 2.5 + worldwide to see how many earthquakes have occurred in the past month then hit search earthquake archives and hit the – button on the map to see the worldwide locations(1439 at 17.00 GMT 06.02.16 up from a few hundred 14 years ago!) and volcanic eruptions http://www.volcanodiscovery… activity now up to 60 from thirteen years ago. See also http://theeconomiccollapseb… Currently, as a result of the pole shift, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions (211 active volcanoes!) are on the increase and there are over 3,500,000 fissures in deep ocean releasing much more greenhouse gas than man produces and pole shift will increase this volume. Just factor in the 3.5 million fissures in deep ocean pumping out 'greenhouse gases' and turning the oceans rapidly acidic (google 'acidification of the oceans') and the gases being released from the increased number of active volcanoes. Hence the huge spike in CO2 recorded by the IPCC! (It is not us driving 100 times more each and every year for the past few years!) The crust is on the move and it is putting stress on the crust….go to you tube and search 'cracks in the earth crust'…some are miles long and appear instantaneously! One example see https://www.youtube.com/wat… So prepare for more earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and more severe climate change in the future! Our next pole shift is well overdue….the last one caused mass extinctions worldwide. See also www.magneticreversal.org Florida sea level rise https://www.youtube.com/wat… and https://www.youtube.com/wat… & https://www.youtube.com/wat… where sea level rise is not to do with global sea rise but to do with pole shift as North America moves south towards the bulge of ocean at the Equator. Areas approaching the Equator are sinking, areas moving away from the Equator are rising.

In previous pole shifts, there is now strong evidence to show that leading up to such events, oxygen levels decrease as more 'poisonous and inflammable greenhouse gas' is released from the increased number of volcanic eruptions, deep ocean fissures and earthquakes. In addition, following massive volcanic eruptions, without sun to allow plants to grow converting carbon dioxide to oxygen, carbon dioxide levels increase and oxygen levels fall exponentially. See http://earth-pages.co.uk/20… Wild weather is on the increase monthly. Please see https://www.youtube.com/wat… SOTT Earth changes July 2016.Then look at the many You Tube videos listed to the right of the aforementioned video to see how the situation has become much worse since July 2016.

Pole shift is having a massive affect on migratory sea life, birds and land mammals, hence the progressive increase in mass animal deaths (google 'mass animal deaths')(See Mass animal deaths for 2017 and see the following link for the statistics from 2011! http://www.end-times-prophe… ) over the past 14 years. ( See also the many videos on you tube listed under 'mass animal deaths' ) Whales, dolphins, fish and birds in their thousands world wide are washing up on shore and the numbers are increasing. The movement 490 Km east towards Russia of the magnetic north and a similar movement of the magnetic south westwards are confusing migration routes. Even some land mammals are observed to have altered migration routes.
Worse still, we are cutting down the trees in the tropics and Amazon is sinking south and the forests in Indonesia and the Philippines moving north as a result of pole shift. Less trees in the tropics and tropics are warming (Not Global warming) As the tropics heat more cloud is generated but, without the trees, the water cycle is interrupted and the climate control (the tree cover) is disappearing. Then the extra and denser cloud cover generated at the Tropics escapes north and south .

  23. Samir Voltchenko says:

Uggh! Just shut up! This video is the equivalent if a group of dodo's trying to deferentiate between EXTINCTION and DEATH, instead of doing something about the threat of their own demise! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU CALL IT, IT'S KILLING US! A poison by any other name is still deadly.

  24. H4I2I2EE says:

  25. Lisa Adler says:

wearing a coat in May. Don't believe any of the bs

  26. Saul Hernandez-Gaytan says:

    This video is funny

  27. Dallas Hills says:

Global Climate Scam –It is a mixture of not just the relentless propaganda spread by the "Man-made Global Warming" Industry ( a multi-billion dollar industry), it is also both the extreme ignorance and extreme arrogance of some people that allows the myth to continue.

Five minutes research by any five year old will yield the basic fact that Modern science completely fails to even accurately predict basic weather out for a month!

Climatology itself is not even remotely an exact science and it is concerned mostly with reading past climate changes in the ice and earth.

Yet these "Doom Sayers" and "SJW" people actually believe science can predict weather patterns and climate both for decades to centuries in to the future! Its goes beyond general ignorance in to gleeful, purposeful ignorance. As for those who mix insult with "go to school" comments aimed at those who don't buy in to their hysteria; I notice they use either no facts/science at worst and at best only use sources that are completely invalid.

  28. AustinHartwig says:

let's wait to see if it's just another pre-ice age

  29. John Burr says:

I'm weird. I like the term, "Climate Change" because to me it says, "Ice Age" and I'm looking forward to having one.

  30. Charlie Simar says:

It makes no difference to me. I am old enough to have seen global warming, and I have studied enough to understand the implications of climate change. Global warming can be seen as a steady progression, whereas as climate change is rather chaotic. The Sahara was once a garden spot and could be again with a minor change in wind patterns, or the American midwest could become arid, for examples. The scary scenario is climate change for which we are unprepared.

  31. Nick 1All says:

Global warming is a way to fund the Democrats.(Democraps, they are full of crap).

  32. Ako says:

    where is global cooling?

  33. Christian Prepper says:

  34. Herobrine 37 says:

global cooling down and climate change xD

  35. jahwav says:

Guys the climate has been changing since the beginning of time…..stop fearing death, every life including the earth has a beginning and end and no one can stop either.

  36. liberty justice says:

    Its the same thing

  37. Michael Ransom says:

Isn't global warming an aspect of climate change? As in, one of the ways in which the global climate is changing is that the average global temperature is warmer.

  38. Necrikus says:

To me, climate change is a more unsettling sounding name because "climate" is rather definitive of a word. Global warming could just mean it's it's getting hotter without any indication of what that means or for how long. Climate change, however, straight up says that the weather on a wide and long term basis is changing in a way that it does not normally do.

  39. Ackeem Crandex says:

i think if all of the this human activity stop the earth will be save for little time until a new animal evolve and do what we are doing now and maybe more.

  40. sebas_pwnage says:

WAIT 67% thats absurd low i would think 87% 33% americans you stupid…
